Migrating Your Website to Distil Using DNS Park DNS:

DNS Park provides an easy to use and understand DNS system.  Migrating your DNS Park domain is a simple process that involves two steps:

  • Change your CNAME record for www.website.com to point to a CNAME provided by Distil
  • Change your A Record entry for website.com to point to an IP provided by Distil 

Editing your www CNAME to point to Distil's Network

  1. Log in to your account at DNS Park.
  2. On the left side, click DNS Hosting
  3. Click the domain you'd like to use with LaunchRock. 
  4. Since DNS Park is your hosting service, and not your domain registrar, be sure that your domain points toDNS Park's nameservers. This will allow your CNAME record configuration to take effect. 
  5. Click Alias Records
  6. Under Alias Name, enter www.
  7. Under Destination Name, enter www.yourwebsite.com.distil.us
  8. Click Add Alias.

  1. Log in to your account at DNS Park
  2. On the left side, click DNS Hosting
  3. Click the root domain you want to use with Distil. 
  4. Since DNS Park is your hosting service, and not your domain registrar, be sure that your domain points toDNS Park's nameservers. This will allow your CNAME record configuration to take effect. 
  5. Click Host Records
  6. Under Host Name, enter your website's base domain name.
  7. Under IP Address, enter the root Domain IP address assigned to you by Distil in either the Add Domain wizard in the portal or your deployment email. 
  8. Click Add Host to save.
